Today's live show features a very special guest for anyone who has been dying to answer specific questions about rangeland ecology. In Point Reyes we have a very different sort of rangeland ecologist in that the so-called scientist is really there to defend livestock grazing. By contrast, today we will talk to someone who not only speaks without the pressure of the livestock industry guiding his words, but can share first-hand experience of witnessing nature's recovery once livestock have been removed.
Be sure to join the show to have your questions answered! 10 AM Pacific! Paul Ruprecht is the Nevada Director at Western Watersheds Project. He holds a J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School and a master’s degree in Rangeland Ecology and Management from Colorado State University. He previously managed a 10,000-acre conservation preserve in northern Nevada, overseeing restoration and documenting ecological recovery following the removal of livestock.
